I won't give you the nonsensical bullshit you're used to hearing in various forms of media and entertainment.
I won't give you the benefit of the doubt, freedom of speech; I will give you nothing but the words in front of you.
Every day I read articles or see things, people, places.
It saddens me to know that I'm overweight, and I try so hard to not be.
That I look for freedom, and darkness is all that I find.
I hate that in order to drive anywhere, I either see fat people walking, or fat people driving.
In any case, the skinny one's are stupid too. Stupid and angry, insolent, and vengeful.
You think of the upper class, and you ask how they are different.
They retort with a comment of try harder, you can do it too.
Money is not a virtue, and I wish I had none.
Sadistic at best, a big red button is both shiney AND tempting.
I just sometimes want it to all go away in the blink of an eye.
I remember when I thought a friendship was all fun and games,
But now that I understand the emotional value (and lack thereof),
I have become a pathetic pile of an emotional mess.
I write the most important things in my life, and yet they go unnoticed, and stand to dither away
Through the depths of time.
If I were a grain of sand i'd be better off,
A piece to a larger whole, a fluid, moving whole
Existant, and free, yet docile and apathetic.
I wish sometimes I could just change it all
But how can I change something
That's not mine to change?
I stand beneath the pillars of sorrow and melancholy
I try to sleep
I try to find truth
I try to find resolve
But all I find is unknown.
Unknown is a way to believe
Where new, impartial, 'random', becomes truth.
I hope that one day someone reads what I say
And understands what I have to say.
I hope that one day,
I can just...make a difference, I guess.
Sometimes we see in crimson, some times in blue
Or black, or gray -
But sometimes sight may not be what we want
Perception though, indeed
Maybe a different form of things
But I know I want to feel different.
