Touch my dreams in ways unknown
Hidden amongst lies, your eyes glown
Blown out of proportion in mannerisms unfair
Held down by the ropes that just aren't there

Yell and scream
Fight and struggle
Cry out and weep
But scared I am not.

I simply look, waiting for truth
I not only seek, but search within
Persuading redemption to come my way
Begging, asking, to cool these eyes
Fiery arrows of God's will

Used inappropriately thanks to me.

This makes it hard to plan the day." ~ E. B. White

From now on. you will not call me Ben. From now on, you will call me Ben. Not Ben, Ben.
Nice. Another piece for me to ponder... especially the last verse "Used inappropriately thanks to me".....

Your poems are very telling. Literally and figuratively.

"Boy, you got a panty on your head."
Beautiful. I really like the last line in the second stanza. It makes a great contrast to um... the rest of the stanza.
