There stands a chance I will never know freedom.
We think we understand, but we only know what we sense!
But how does one who is eternally restrained
Sense, or even feel freedom?
Would I, one of the forever bound even know what to do?

Example
I believe that tomorrow exists. Except for the 'people'
That tell you the end is near,
Explain to you that rapture is nigh
While all that flows through your head
Is how much longer before you're out of their sight
For they are the ones who live in fear of tomorrow
And even though you know they're wrong
How do you know tomorrow really exists?

You cannot know until tomorrow comes,
And you won't know if the tomorrow after will either

So believe in what you can - the now.

We have to believe in tomorrow. Or rather... We need to.
:iconartofpoetry:
Yes, yes we do need to believe in tomorrow, but we also have to be prepared for it by learning from our pasts. That's why we have a history, a collection of interactions, observations, and events that we can collectively identify patterns and abstract concepts that will better assist us in what we identify as our futures. Or, as discussed in this poem - tomorrow.
